Most of the house got up to see us off this morning. Considering we left the house for the airport just before 4:00 a.m., that would mean Andrew is in for a long day.
At the baggage counter I realized Noah was starting his day with a nasty diaper, and by the time we got to the bathroom, nastiness had made its way all over his shorts and down one leg. Aggggh-who would have thought we needed to pack a change of clothing in our carry-on. I would have gladly paid any price for a new pair of shorts, but knowing it was doubtful the airport gift shop would oblige me, Trinity washed out the shorts, and I washed off Noah. Not a great way to start the day, but it would have been much worse if it would have happened on the plane.
I was pretty sure lift-off was going to be terrifying for him, but Noah found it to be delightful.
We’ve just landed in Baltimore. Smooth sailing for sure. Lunch here and then off to Long Island.
Look out New York, here we come . . .
