Surgery – Today’s the Day

8:37. We’re back in a private surgery waiting room. We’ve already met with the surgeon, the nurses, child life, and the intraoperative MRI techs. The first face we saw this morning as we entered the hospital was our pastor’s. What a blessing!!! They’ll be taking Andres any minute. It turns out the procedure will be 4 hours total, with only about 45 minutes for the actual surgery. Still, a long time to wait.
