How to Prepare Your Oldest For College When Your Youngest is Still in Diapers

ummmm. . . Now this would be a great topic for a guest blogger, because I’m feeling pretty much like I don’t have a clue, especially when you add in the three in elementary school, two in preschool, and one with Down syndrome who I need to create a kindergarten curriculum for.

Summer has just begun, and I’m already stressing about homeschooling in the fall. No answers today, except to remember to put one foot in front of the other and do the next right thing.

Blessings,
Alyson

  1. Prepare your oldest how? You’ve raised a daughter who, thanks to homeschooling, has a handle on what it takes to pursue higher education. Trinity is a fine young woman with personality, intelligence, spirituality, morals, and motivation.

I’d say the work you’ve done to get her ready earns you an A+.

What remains to be done is find a school that meets her needs as well as research like crazy to see what’s out there in the way of grants and scholarships. We don’t want her saddled with huge debt when she graduates.
