In honor of all of the Sanctity of Life Advocates (aka Pro-Lifers) who took to the streets over the weekend to rally against abortion, here’s a video put out by our local Down syndrome group (Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas at http://www.dsact.com) providing a current, accurate look at the abilities of and outlook for people with Down syndrome in our community today.
Even if you’re not a family member of someone with Down syndrome, do take a look and educate yourself about the truth behind that extra 21st chromosome and the remarkable people who have it. You’ll never know whose life you might save by being able to offer truth and hope in just the right way at just the right time.
